As a proud family-run automotive shop, we serve Waynesboro and the surrounding Valley with one clear mission: deliver honest, reliable auto care at a fair price, without cutting corners or pushing unnecessary services. When you bring your vehicle to Valley OPS, you’re not just another appointment; you’re part of the family.
We know how personal vehicles are. They carry our families, our work, our memories, and our freedom. That’s why we treat every car in our shop like it’s our own, and why our customers trust us with everything from daily drivers to classic builds.
Built From Passion, Driven by Experience
The founders of Valley OPS Automotive, David and Brian Hunter, come from a long-standing passion for the automotive world. What began as hands-on experience working on their own vehicles grew into deep involvement within the local car and performance community.
Over the years, David and Brian became known not just for their technical skill but also for their honesty, attention to detail, and respect for the craft. They saw a need in the Valley for a shop that combined real-world experience, transparent pricing, and all-in-one service, and in Fall 2025, Valley OPS Automotive opened its doors.
Our goal is to provide drivers in the Valley with a better option for auto repair. We focus on trust instead of pressure.

While we don’t specialize in European vehicles, collision repair, or alignment services, we focus on what we do best, American and Japanese vehicles, serviced the right way.

Valley OPS Automotive proudly supports the community we call home, offering a 10% discount to military members and first responders as a small token of appreciation for their service.
As the shop continues to grow, our vision grows with it. In the future, Valley OPS plans to expand into additional automotive offerings, including a vehicle sales arm connected directly to the garage, giving customers even more trusted options, all in one place.
We are proud to be locally-owned and serving the community in Waynesboro, VA. With small-town charm, a quickly growing economy, and natural beauty at the doorstep of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Waynesboro is a beautiful place to live, work, and play.
